Analog Devices demonstrates 5Gsps data acquisition and motor control at Embedded World 2015
Analog Devices demonstrates interleaving of two AD9625 2.5Gsps converters on the Fidus analog to digital FMC board to the Xilinx Virtex-7 based VC707 evaluation board through 16 lanes of JESD204b running at 6.5Gbps. Interleaving is done on the Virtex-7 FPGA fabric.
Also demonstrated is advanced Field Oriented Control (FOC) motor control with two motors on the Intelligent Drives Kit, leveraging Analog Devices AD-FMCMOTCON1-EBZ complete motor drive system and the Avnet Zynq-7015 based Zedboard running Linux on the ARM Cortex-A9 processors and the motor control algorithms on the FPGA fabric.
